Under UK GDPR, the data controller is the legal entity that decides how and why personal data is processed.

What we collect

Four categories, each with a lawful basis.

We collect the minimum personal data we need to run the site and respond to enquiries. Nothing else.

Site analytics

Aggregated counts of pageviews, devices, referrers, and approximate location at country level. No content of any form submission, query, or message is recorded. Stored 14 months.

Cookie preferences

Consent · UK GDPR Art 6(1)(a) / PECR reg 6

Your accept / reject choice from the cookie banner, plus your theme preference (light / dark). Stored locally on your device for 12 months.

Contact form & email

Legitimate interests · UK GDPR Art 6(1)(f)

Name, email address, and the body of any message you send to info@veetso.com, press@veetso.com, or security@veetso.com. Retained for as long as the enquiry is open, then archived for up to 24 months.

Operational telemetry

Legitimate interests · UK GDPR Art 6(1)(f)

HTTP status codes, error traces, and approximate response times. Used only to keep the site online and secure. Stored 30 days.

Sub-processors

Who else touches the data.

  • Cloudflare, Inc. serves veetso.com, terminates TLS, and provides DDoS protection. Data in transit only; processed under a UK GDPR data processing agreement.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) records anonymised analytics events when you accept analytics cookies. IP addresses are truncated; no advertising identifiers are collected.
  • Email infrastructure handles messages sent to info@veetso.com, press@veetso.com, and security@veetso.com. Stored under the same retention rules as the rest of our enquiry log.
Your rights

Eight rights, under UK and EU GDPR.

To exercise any of these, write to info@veetso.com. We respond within one calendar month.

International transfers

Where the data goes.

Personal data collected through veetso.com is processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a sub-processor (such as Cloudflare or Google Analytics) routes traffic through other jurisdictions, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Changes to this policy

Material changes are dated.

When we change anything material about how we process personal data, we update the date at the top of this page. Where the change affects you directly, we will notify you through the channel we already use to contact you.
