The Amsterdam presence covers EU regulatory engagement (De Nederlandsche Bank, the Autoriteit Financiele Markten, and indirectly the European Banking Authority), the integrations Veetso needs for EU payments rails, and the team that operates against the Continental European business day.

Like the Toronto and San Francisco offices, the Amsterdam presence is a working location for a part of the distributed team rather than a leased premises. The Veetso Organization JSON-LD declares the Netherlands as an areaServed but does not declare a Dutch PostalAddress, by design.

Amsterdam is one of the densest concentrations of fintech in the European Union, with Adyen, Mollie, Bunq, and a long tail of payments and AI infrastructure companies operating from the city. The Dutch financial regulators (DNB, AFM) have a reputation for taking digital and AI supervisory questions seriously, which matters for a regulated AI platform.

The EU AI Act, the next round of PSD revisions, MiCA, and DORA all touch the work we do. Engaging with them from inside the EU rather than across the Channel is the difference between hearing about the rule changes and being in the room when the rules are written.
